Philipp Kusche speaks to Aerial View about client education and transparency in the cat bonds market

In a recent interview with BNY Mellon’s Aerial View Bites, Philipp Kusche, Global Head of ILS at Howden Capital & Markets Advisory (“HCMA”), highlighted the importance of client education and transparency in the cat bond market.

Kusche pointed out the 144A catastrophe bond market as “probably the most transparent market for these types of perils”, enabling investors to conduct thorough analyses supported by robust structures and access to information through various service providers.

Kusche also underscored HCMA’s commitment to educating investors interested in direct investments in the cat bond market including in respect of risk tools and quantification also through making Howden Re’s analytics group and other resources available to improve their understanding of such risks.
